About the program
In 2021, the ISTC Foundation, the "Gituzh" initiative, and the Yerevan State University collaborated to create the "Science and Tech Journalism" bootcamp program.
The program's mission is dedicated to fostering meaningful discourse about science and technology in the Armenian media landscape by emphasizing knowledge, facts, and critical thinking.
The program aims to cultivate a new generation of skilled journalists specializing in science and technology across diverse journalistic formats. This involves engaging top experts and representatives from journalistic, scientific, and technological communities, as well as refining a competitive and contemporary curriculum.
Program concept
STJB program was initiated to foster the development and quality of discourse around science and technology in Armenia, as well as to promote communication platforms between journalistic, technological, and scientific communities, along with the exploration of collaborative formats.
